ORARI BRIDGE

FORTNIGHTLY SOCIALS There was a fair attendance at the fortnightly social held in the Orari Bridge Hall in aid of the hall funds. The prizes were won by Mrs C. Knight and Mr P. Ivey. The aggregate prizes for four nights were won by Mrs P. Ivey and Mr W. H. Morris. There was a very large attendance at the fortnightly social held in the Howard Hall, Arundel. The prize winners were Mrs Albert Brown and Mr McQuiggan. The consolation prizes were awarded to Miss McQuiggan and Mr Douglas Pratt. Music was supplied by Miss McQuiggan and Mr A. Popplewell. Mr J. Hewitt was M.C. WOMEN’S DIVISION At the fnonthly meeting of the Orari Bridge Women’s Division, Mrs South presided over a fair attendance. One new member was elected. Miss Wilton gave an address on the League of Nations and was accorded a vote of thanks. Competitions resulted:—Best dressed fowl, Mrs South 1, Mrs Pratt 2. Mrs Ford 3; marble cake, Mrs Ford 1, Miss J. Ford 2, Mrs Burke 3; best bloom, Mrs Ford 1. Mrs Quigley 2, Mrs Greenaway 3. Mrs Inglis and Miss Wilton were the judges. Supper was provided by the members.
