SPECIAL HORSE SALE
GOOD MARKET Late rates were fully maintained at the horse fair held yesterday at Pleasant Point yards. An entry of 50 head of all classes was forward, the majority of the heavy horses being aged draughts. The quality was not so good as at the previous sale. Notwithstanding this fact the inquiry was as keen as ever. The range of values was: 4, 5 and 6year draught geldings from £42 to £49, 4, 5 and 6-year draught mares £3B to £44/10/-, good aged draughts £25 to £35, ordinary aged draughts £l2 to £2O, spring carters £l2 to £2O.
