WOMEN’S DIVISION

HAZELBURN BRANCH At the monthly meeting of the Hazelburn branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, Mrs Shires presided over a small attendance of members. A vote of sympathy was passed to the Oakley family. Miss Kime showed how to make tinfoil pictures, and was accorded a vote of thanks. Competitions resulted: Spring flowers, Mrs White 1 and 2, M. Leary 3. Best bloom, K. Leary 1, Mrs White 2, M. Leary 3. Afternoon tea was dispensed, the hostesses being Mesdames Shires, E. Oakley, K. Leary.
