KEEN COMPETITION IN SYDNEY United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received October 30, 9.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 30. At the wool sales, 11,003 bales were offered, of which 10,247 were sold, also 1150 privately. There -was keen and general competition, chiefly from the Continent and Yorkshire. The market was very firm. Greasy merino made to 161 per lb for five bales from Coolah.
