PRESS CONFERENCE

NEY ZEALAND DELEGATION By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, October 30. The fifth Imperial Press Conference of the Empire Press Union is to be held in South Africa in February and March next year. The New Zealand delegation will comprise Messrs F. A. Clarke, managing editor of the Christchurch "Times and Star,” T. M. Geddes, managing director of the Napier “Daily Telegraph,” and E. G. Kerr Jnr., of the “Timaru Herald.” They will leave New Zealand in December, joining the Ascaiiius, together with the Australian delegation, at Sydney on December 29 for Capetown. This will mark the first occasion on which an official visit has been paid to South Africa by the Empire Press Union. The conference will open in Capetown on February 4.
