A PUBLIC WELCOME. NELSON, October 30. Bishop Hilliard, who was enthroned on Sunday as Bishop of Nelson, was accorded a public welcome at Marsden Church house last evening, the Ven, Archdeacon Kimberley presiding. In addition to all the bishops in New Zealand, and the Archbishop of Sydney, all other denominations were strongly represented. The Rev. Father Cullen, S.M.. on behalf of the Catholic community, and the Rev. James Hay, president of the Ministers’ Association, were among the chief spokesmen.
