CAMPBELL AND STRICKLAND TO MEET The Timaru Boxing Association has arranged a contest between Alan Campbell (Timaru) and Maurice Strickland (Wellington) for November 15. The contest will be Strickland’s first appearance in Timaru and his meeting with Campbell has been eagerly awaited. Both contestants have gained decisions over champion Ray Nicol, and on past performances look an even match.
