The giant Condor biplane which Rear-Admiral Byrd plans to use on long range exploration flights was given a test flight on Saturday by the pilots. Harold June and Bowlin, who pronounced the test satisfactory. Reaij-Admiral Byrd expects to make the first jonrney within a few days. The sledging party, now en route to Edsel Ford Range, sent a wireless message that it is 108 miles east of Little America, with the temperature 37deg. below zero.
