The Radical Conference decided not to declare war on the Prime Minister (M. Doumergue) and thus disrupt the party truce, but to oppose M. Doumergue’s plan to introduce a dissolution. The conference gave a mandate to Radical members of the Cabinet to negotiate for a compromise.
