LONDON SHEEPSKIN SALES United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, October 25. At the sheepskin sales, 5347 bales were offered, including; 682 Australian and 1539 New Zealand. There was a good attendance and keen competition. Continentals were the chief buyers. About 65 per cent were sold. There are some withdrawals of New Zealands owing to high limits. All sorts were dearer compared with July 6—Australian, Merino combing 7£ per cent, clothings, slightly; line crossbreds 5 to li per cent. All New Zealands were par to 5 per higher; lambs, slightly. DAIRY PRODUCE Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Timaru, have received the following advice from their London Office: — Butter.—Market firmer owing to reduced stocks. Danish 118/- to 120/-. Australian unsalted 68/- to 70/-. Australian salted 68/- to 70/-. Australian g.a.q. 65/- to 67/-. N.Z. 69/- to 70/-. Cheese. —Markets firm owing to light supplies. Australian, not quoted. N.Z. white 51/- to 52/-. N.Z. coloured 50/to 52/-.
