CORDERY MOTORS
CHRYSLER, PLYMOUTH AND HILLMAN CARS
The outstanding feature of Cordery Motors’ stand is the Chrysler Air-flow de Soto. The construction of the body is a prominent feature of this car in that the superstructure and chasis are all steel in one piece. It is built with roomy accommodation for six people with plenty of comfort and head-room. The chasis is fitted with horizontal stabilizer which postively eliminates all chance of body side sway when coming at all speeds. The motor has a voltage control attachment which regulates the charging of the battery. Flat batteries are out of the question. The luggage compartment is comfortably built in behind the rear cushion squab keeping the luggage free from dust and weather. The riding comfort of the passengers is well provided for, because instead of the rear seat .passengers sitting behind the back axle the seat accommodation has been carried forward to enable the rear passengers to sit 20 inches in front of the rear axle. In other words with the motor carried forward over the front axle, passengers are riding amidships. Another fine model is the Chrysler 6 de Luxe equipped with free-wheeling and automatic clutch which revolutionises driving. There are also two models of the well-known Plymouth with a six cylinder engine, developing 77 horse-power; this is equipped with freewheeling and automatic clutch and hair-action springing. On this stand Is also shown two models of the ewell-known Hillman cars. One Is a 20 horse-power saloon and develops a 70 brake horse-power. This car has been especially built for overseas conditions.
