ALPINE TRAGEDY
BURIAL OF ENGLISH VICTIMS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received September 26, 5.5 p.m.) COURMAYEUR (Italy), Sept. 26. The remains of Paul Wand and John Hoyland, the two Englishmen who were killed in a mountaineering accident, were interred in the cemetery of Camp Santo. The bodies were borne thither on the shoulders of the same twelve guides who brought them on the arduous journey, occupying twelve hours, down the mountain side. After the burial the father and uncle of Hoyland proceeded to Geneva en route to London.
