Jardine’s wedding to Miss Peat at St. George's, Hanover Square, although many followers of the game crowded the gallery and church pavement. (A cablegram received on May 25 said that Ir D. R. Jardine wr.s affianced to Miss Margaret Irene Peat, youngest daughter of Sir Harry and Lady Peat.)
