The following is the draw for the J second two ball knockout competition: Joseph and Satterthw’aite v. p. Menzies and Lawrence, Slade and Baigent v. Kennedy and J. Warsaw, Robertson and Smith v. Hobin and Todd. Clark and Wain v. Jones and Lewis, Mantell and Bedford v. Mitchell and H. L. Warsaw, J. Menzies and Crosbie v. Kav and Cole, Steele and Caithness v. Davies and Mclntosh, Young and Martin v. Healy and Johnston. The first rounds of the championship resulted as follows: Women: Miss Bradley beat Mrs Cunningham, Miss Mcßride beat Miss Islip, Mrs Robertson beat Miss Miller by default, Mrs Caithness beat Miss Macaulay, Miss Robertson beat Mrs Healey by default, Mrs Mantell beat Miss Morgan, Miss Sellwood beat Miss Whitehead, Miss Stewart beat Mrs Joseph. Senior, men: J. Menzies beat Robertson, Davies beat Kennedy, Steele beat Thompson, Mitchell beat Young, Healey beat Jones, D. Menzies beat Mantell, Joseph and Kay byes. Junior: Mclntosh beat Bedford, Smith beat J. Warsaw, Johnson beat Baijent, Lawrence beat Collins, Satterthwaite beat Wright, Todd beat Crosbie. Clark and Wain byes. The finals of the women’s singles knockout resulted in a win for Miss Stewart who beat Mrs Robertson on the 17th green. Mrs Caithness and Mrs Joseph won the doubles knockout by beating Miss Miller and Miss Robertson 2 up and 1. In the men’s knockout singles W. E. Jones beat J. H. Healey 1 up.
