KING’S JUBILEE
PLANS FOR CELEBRATION IN ENGLAND. United Press Association—By El trie Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 26, 7.45 p.m.) LONDON, July 26. The Cabinet has approved of the programme for the celebration of the jubilee of the King's accession to the Throne.
A general holiday is being proclaimed on May 6, the actual date of accession, on which the children will be specially entertained, and Their Majesties will attend a thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s. A Naval review is included in the programme. The presence of the Dominions’ Prime Ministers is intended to make the occasion an Empire family celebration.
