DEATH AND DESTRUCTION IN U.S.A. Unite 1 Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright CHICAGO, July 23. The heat wave in the Central and South-Western States continued today, with the death roll numbering 282. In the past five days the crops have been ravaged and the failure of the water supplies has been responsible for the loss of thousands of head of cattle. The crop loss is estimated to run Into millions of dollars.
