LONDON TO MELBOURNE IN TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES United Pres Association—By Electro . Telegraph— Copyright MELBOURNE, July 24. Addressing the Constitutional Club, Mr E. T. Fisk, general manager of Amalgamated Wireless Ltd., announced that the front page picture appearing in the London “Evening Standard” on Saturday was transmitted to Australia in 25 minutes by medium of the beam wireless. He added that television however, would not be practicable for five or 10 years.
