The Vienna correspondent of “The Daily Telegraph” says: “Timed at the moment when the Vice-Chancellor, Major Emil Fey, was due to begin a speech at Salyberg Festival House, a bomb concealed in a flower pot exploded on the stage, injuring three men, filling the stage with smoke, and severely damaging the fittings of the theatre. Major Fey was prevented from attending. The explosion occurred while a substitute was addressing the meeting. It is not clear whether the outrage was the work of Nazis or Socialists.
