Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s monoplane, Codock, is expected to be ready for trials early in February Sir Charles, accompanied by Messrs Taylor. Stnnnage and Pethybridge will fly to New Zealand in the Southern Cross. He will return to Sydney by steamer in February to put the Codock through her test flights, returning to New Zealand by steamer to continue passenger flights through the Dominion in the Southern Cross. Squadron-Leader T. W Whites crew in the Codock will be Commander Bennett, as navigator, and a wireless operator.
