FAST FERRY SERVICE
HYDROPLANES FOR USE IN SYDNEY. United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph —Copyrlgh t SYDNEY, December 20. Claimed to be the fastest ferry boat in the world, the Sydney Ferries' new 45-foot passenger hydroplane, with the designer, Mr Wigg, as commander, and Mr Wackett at the controls, recorded 35 knots in the trial. The boat is designed to carry 35 passengers seated, with ample standing room The cruising speed is 25 knots.
