MR F. L. WOOLES. Wind—Moderate to strong easterly to northerly. Weather—More or less warm and cloudy, isolated showers likely. DOMINION METEOROLOGIST General situation —The anti-cyclone over New Zealand has commenced to move eastwards. A cyclone is advancing across the northern Tasman Sea and a westerly depression over the southern Tasman Sea. Winds—lncreasing north-easterly to northerly. Seas (New Zealand waters)—Becoming rough north of East Cape and about Cook and Foveaux Straits, elsewhere moderate but with considerable swell. Eastern Tasman Sea—Strong northeast to north winds and rough seas. Weather —Dull warm and humid with much mist or fog In places, rain is likely In the northern and western portions of the North Island extending shortly to most districts; some heavy falls probable In Auckland province.
