DRAMA CLUB. The Rangitata Drama Club held a very successful "crazy ball" In the hall. The attendance was large and a pleasant evening was spent. Prizes for "crazy” costumes were won by Miss Palmer and Mr D. Metcalfe. A balloon dance was won by Miss I. Fitzharris *.nd Mr Robinson, a traffic cop waltz by Mr G. Henderson and partner, and a waltzing competition by Miss Nicholas and Mr Earl. Mr J. Watts acted :.s master of ceremonies. WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. At a meeting of the general committee of th Rangitata Women's Institute. Mrs Brodie presided over a full attendance. A motion of sympa*'.y was passed with the relatives of Mrs Edgar. Arrangements for the Christmas party were completed It was decided to hold the party under the same conditions as in former years. Mrs B H Watts intimated to the committee her intention of giving a challenge cup next year for the best thrift article. Her offer was gratefully accepted.
