FRIENDLY WELCOME IN CHINA. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SHANGHAI, November 6. The first effect of the anti-Aryan policy of the Hitler Government, was experienced in Shanghai to-day, with the arrival of the first batch of several hundred German Jews, who were forced to leave Germany following the persecution. Twenty-six scientists, doctors and other highly skilled professional Germans arrived with their families, and purpose making their home in China. Their advent is regarded with considerable satisfaction by the Chinese authorities, who are prepared to avail themselves of their services, placing every facility in their way.
