DECREASING UNEMPLOYMENT IN BRITAIN. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 6. Persons unemployed on October 23 totalled 2,298,753, a decrease of 44,000 compared with September 25, and 537,000 less than in October, 1932. A further improvement is recorded in the coal, engineering, motor, metal, cotton, woollen, pottery, and shipbuilding industries. Employment continues to decline in the building and distributive trades, the iron and steel industries, and road transport and shipping services.
