CYCLE AND LORRY COLLIDE

EIDER KILLED: PASSENGER INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association HASTINGS, November 6. A collision, in which Raymond Harold Petersen, aged 24, single, cf Hastings, was killed and William John Forrest, single, also of Hastings, was seriously injured, occurred at Hastings on Saturday evening. Petersen wns riding a motor-cycle, with Forrest as a pillion passenger. The machine ran into the left side cf a lorry driven by Tiki Fraser, a carrier, of Hastings. Petersen died 10 minutes later. Forrest, who is now a patient in the Hastings Hospital, was reported this morning to be a satisfactory condition. The men were returning from the Palmerston North Show, at which Forrest had been exhibiting a model destroyer mad * by him.
