MOTOR CYCLE CLUB

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the committee of the South Canterbury motor cycle club was held last evening. The president, Mr R. G. Slade presided over a good attendance of members. The committee suggested that the West Cup be given for the Kelcy’s Bush hill climb, but this was rejected by the donor. It was agreed to give it for the fastest climb of the day at the next Tycho Hill Climb. In view of this alteration, Mr A. C. Mitchell and Mr J. S. Martin have generously given a challenge rose bowl for the Kelcy’s bush hill climb. The club run to Kelcy’s Bush which was scheduled for last Sunday was postponed owing to adverse weather conditions. It was decided that it be held next Sunday. Several details were arranged for the 24 hours trial which is now approaching. It was agreed that the officials for the trial get together within the next few days to work out the checks and times.
