Sailed: Gale (noon) and Holmdale (12.5 p.m.) for Ficton; Opihi (7.40 p.m.) for Nelson; Rangatira (7.50 p.m.) for Lyttelton. LYTTELTON, November 6. Sailed: Wahine (8 p.m.) for Wellington. AUCKLAND, November 6. Arrived—Waimarino (2.10 p.m.) from Wellington; Kia Ora (8.30 p.m.) from Wellington; Wairuna (11 p.m.) from Los Angeles. Sailed—Port Whangarei (3.5 p.m.) for Wellington. NOTES. The Port Waikato completed loading for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei yesterday and sailed in the evening for the north via Lyttelton. The Storm is expected to arrive from Oamaru this evening to load for Wellington and Wanganui. She should sail for Lyttelton again this evening. The Wingatui has been delayed in the south. She is now set down to arrive at this port from Dunedin tomorrow to load for Wellington and Auckland and possibly for Picton. The Holmglen also is due to arrive from the south to-morrow. After loading Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato shipments, she is to proceed via Lyttelton. The Titoki which is another arrival scheduled for to-morrow will bring transhipments ex the Cumberland. She will load for Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Tauranga. Golden Cloud Sails for Melbourne. The O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cloud, which arrived from Wellington on Saturday, loaded 400 tons of fertiliser at Timaru yesterday, and sailed in the evening for Melbourne direct to complete loading for Los Angeles.

Wool Shipments. Three vessels have been chartered by G. H. Scales, Ltd., to load wool in New Zealand this season for the United Kingdom and the Continent. They are the Benreoch, Bencruachan, and Anglo-Canadian, all of which have been to New Zealand before. The Benreoch is due at Picton on December 13 from Port Kembla. Her other ports of call have not been definitely fixed, but they will include Wellington and Port Chalmers, from where she is to sail on January 5, probably for Dunkirk, London and Hull. The Benreoch will be followed by the Anglo-Canadian, to leave towards the end of February, and the Bencruachan, to sail early in April. Akaroa Due at Auckland. The National Mortgage and Agency Company is in receipt of a radio message from the master of the Akaroa, en route from Southampton, stating that it is expected to reach Auckland this evening. Gallic and Delphic Sold. News has been received that the well-known White Star Line steamers Gallic (7912 tons) and Delphic (8006 tons gross register), both built in 1918, have been sold to the Clan Line Steamers, Ltd. Meiko Maru For Auckland. The Meiko Maru, which loaded jarrah at Bunbury for New Zealand ports, is reported to have left there last week for Auckland. She is due at Auckland about November 9 and will complete discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. After this she will load a further shipment of scrap metal for Japan, following close on the tracks of the Nankwa Maru, which is at present at Wanganui. Personal. Mr E. Frazer has been engaged as seventh engineer on the Rangatira. Mr J. Hamilton, third engineer on the same vessel, is at present ashore on leave as the result of an accident. Mr A. Pert has joined the Wingatui as extra officer. Mr R. Hart has been engaged as chief officer on the Kapiti, relieving Mr J. J .Smith, who is ashore on sick leave. Mr J. A. Hughan is relieving C, MacLeod as chief officer on the Matangi, MAIL NOTICES.
