WRIT TO ISSUE SOON. By Telegrapl. —Press Association WELLINGTON, October 23. It is expect id that the vacancy tn the House of Representatives caused by the death of Mr H. E. Holland will be announced to the House to-morrow afternoon, and the Prime Minister will move for the issue of the writ. Inquiries indicate that there is little possibility of a Coalition candidate being nominated. FIVE CANDIDATES IN THE HELD. By Teiegraot—- Aasociatioo WESTPORT, October 21. There are likely to be at least five candidates in the field for the Buller electorate at the coming by-election. They are.: Mr P. C. Webb < Labour). Mr A. Colvin (Independent). Mr E L Hills (Independent!. Mr lan Bimson (Liberal-Labour). Mr Wathev (Liberal-Labour). Of these, Mr Wathey's candidature has not been confirmed. Mr Colvin announced himself to-day as an Independent candidate for th* seat. He I« a -ell-known and popular citiaen.
