TWO PERSONS KILLED

LEVEL CROSSING ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Association NEI23ON, October 21. In an endeavour to avoid a collision with a train at the Wakatu crossing William Francis Fryer, drove his motor car into the cattle stops. Two occupants were thrown out against the side of the train. Elsie May Fryer, aged 5, daughter of the driver, was killed, and Mrs William Guckert suffered injuries which proved fatal after her admission to hospital. The driver escaped with minor injuries. The car was not greatly damaged.
