TWO BROWN SHIRTS PUNISHED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, October 17. The two Brown Shirts who maltreated Boelz, were sentenced to six months each, and the two assailants of the American, Mr Velz, received similar sentences. They pleaded that Mr Velz, adapted a contemptuous attitude towards the Nazi flag. Public Protection. Asserting that the recent molestation of foreigners was incited by Marxist and Communist provocateurs, the Prussian Minister of the Interior ordered that foreigners must be given public protection in every way possible. A self-evident duty of the true Nazis was to regard hospitality as sacred.
