TO-DAY’S RECIPE
COFFEE ’CAKE. ilb butter, ilb sugar, 6oz flour, 4 eggs, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 tablespoon coffee essence. Beat yolks and sugar, add beaten whites and coffee then flour and baking powder. Add melted butter last. Bake 15 to 20 minutes In sandwich tins.
