PARLIAMENT TO TACKLE UNEMPLOYMENT. British Official Wireless (Received October 13, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, October 12. The Imperial Parliament reassembles on November 7th, after the summer recess. A new Unemployment Insurance Bill will be one of the first Government measures to be introduced. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Minister of Labour, and the Minister of Health to-day met representatives of Municipal Corporations and County Council Associations, to discuss the details of the measure. The Government hopes the prorogation of Parliament will be possible about November 17. A new session will begin a few days later.
