ASSYRIAN TROUBLE
IRAQ DELEGATION TO THE LEAGUE British Official Wireless (Received September 25, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, September 23. The Iraq delegation to the League of Nations hopes to arrive at Geneva early next week in order to be present when the Assyrian question comes up for consideration. Owing to the recent death of King Feisal, it was impossible for the delegation to reach Geneva at an earlier date in the proceedings, and the League Council, after considering the request from the Iraq Government yesterday. agreed to a short postponement. It is expected that the question will come up for consideration about October 2.
