With the soft coal industry under National Recovery Act code, the recovery leaders have turned to problems of price control in the retail trade. National Recovery A§t officials are prepared to give full attention to important retail codes and numerous other codes, notably the newspaper and commercial printing trade, which have hearings during the coming week. Financial Assistance. Continuing the credit expansion programme, the Reconstruction Finance Corporation announced it is advancing 150,00,000 dollars to the Farm Credit Adiministration, for the refinancing of farm mortgages. Clock Industry Benefits. The time clock industry is one that has experienced renewed prosperity as the result of the National Recovery Act. Manufacturers of these time recording devices report that sales have increased recently up to 500 per cent., apparently reflecting the desire of employers to adhere scrupulonsly to the new maximum working hours prescribed in the various codes.
