A return of the Canadian National Railways finances for the calendar year, 1932, was placed before the House, showing a .net income deficit, exclusive of interest on Government loans, of 61,000,000 dollars. In the face of continuously falling revenues, a gross reduction totalling 39,401,567 dollars, compeared with the previous year, the Company was able to reduce the operating expenses by 44,104,834, and show a net operating revenue of 5,895,433 dollars, which is 4,703,266 dollars greater thart in 1931.
