WINCHESTER.

PERSONAL. Mr and Mrs L. H. Orbell and Mr G. B. Orbell. Winchester are leaving for Akaroa, where they will be the guests oft Mrs J. C. Buckland for the holidays. Mrs A. J. Stone-Wigg and Mrs J. L. Stone-Wigg, Waihi School, will leave early in the New Year for Queenstown, where they will spend the first part of their vacation holidays. Ml- and Mrs W. "Philp, Palmerston North, are the guests of Mr and Mrs H. A. Philp, Winchester, Mr P. H. T. Alpers, Waihi School, left on Wednesday for Christchurch. Miss Moore, Winchester, will be the guest of her sister, Mrs A. G. Hart, “The Cliffs,” Rosewill, for the holidays.
