He was playing on the wharves when a heap of timber fell on him. DEATH FROM EXPOSURE. By Telegraph—" Press Association. AUCKLAND. Sept. 29. The death occurred to-day of Leslie Braithwaite (26), who was found lying on Tuesday morning on a grass bank in Grafton Gully, with Injuries to his ribs, as the result of a fall. Braithwaite was helpless and unable to move, and had spent a wet, cold night in the open. He was in a serious condition when admitted to hospital.
