Superiority in strength, experience and ringcraft gave George Walker a victory by two falls to one over Tommy Thompson, In a wrestling match tonight The bout was full of interest- , ing work, and although Thompson showed up well as a resourceful performer, it became clear before many minutes had gone that Walker was the more dangerous man Walker won the first fall in the third round. Thompson equalised amid high excitement in the next, but Walker brought the match to an end in the fifth with a well-directed slam. The weights of both men were 13st 121bs.
