OLYMPIA MOTOR SHOW.

INTERNATIONAL DISPLAY. REDUCTION IN PRICES. British Official Wireless RUGBY, October 12. The annual motor show opens at Olympia, London, on Thursday. The total value of cars on view will be £750,000 and the total value of the show, including speed-boats and equipment, is estimated at over £1,000,000. The event will be fully international, for practically every country that makes cars will be repersented. British firms provide about one-half of the exhibits. The designs show further improvements on recent years, and economy in running expenses has been effected in many directions. There have been extensive reductions in prices, which were accentuated in many foreign markets since Britain went off the gold standard. Visitors to the show will see the British motor-car. the motor-boat, and seaplane which hold the world speed records for land, water, and air.
