About 6840 bales were sold. The Merino offering consisted principally of super-styles. There was a good selection of New Zealand greasy Merinos and cross-breds. There was a poor supply of other sorts. There was good competition at late rates. New Zealand lots sold as follows: Greasy Merino, Dungree, lid top price, 103 d average; cross-breds, WMK/SV, 83d, 8d; come-backs, Tirohanga, lid, 104 d. The Bradford tops market is stagnant. with no business. Quotations are nominal.
