LONDON WOOL SALES.
GOOD COMPETITION REPORTED. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright LONDON. May 11. At the wool sales, 7543 bales were offered, including 3093 bales of New Zealand wool. About 6840 bales were sold. The Merino offering consisted principally of super-styles. There was a good selection of New Zealand greasy Merinos and cross-breds. There was a poor supply of other sorts. There was good competition at late rates. New Zealand lots sold as follows: Greasy Merino, Dungree, lid top price, 103 d average; cross-breds, WMK/SV, 83d, 8d; come-backs, Tirohanga, lid, 104 d. The Bradford tops market is stagnant. with no business. Quotations are nominal.
