Mr A. S. Elworthy left for the south by the express yesterday morning. Mr J. Bitchener. M.P., for Waitaki, returned from Wellington yesterday. Mr C. J. Talbot returned to Timaru from Christchurch yesterday. The Hon. W. Stevenson, Invercargill, went south by the express yesterday. Mr E. R. Isaac was a passenger for the south b.v yesterday’s express. The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, passed through Timaru on his way south yesterday. Sir James Allen (Dunedin) and the Hon. A. F. Hawke (Invercargill) were passengers for the south by the first express yesterday. Mr F. Waite, M.P.. for Clutha, and Mr A. Hamilton, M.P.. for Wallace, passed through Timaru on their way south yesterday.
