THE HAURAKI SEAT. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, April 30. The Country Party will contest the Hauraki by-election. Mr A. A. Ross, of Mission Bay, has been chosen as its candidate by a meeting of delegates at Papatoetoe. Other candidates so far announced are Mr W. W. Massey (Reform), and Mr C. R. Petrie (Labour). Ballot Informal. A further ballot for the selection of a Labour candidate for the Grey Lynn seat is to be held, the result of a ballot held at the beginning of the year, when Mr J. A. Lee (formerly member for Auckland East) was selected, having been upset as a result of informality.
