. GALLANTRY OF MATE. United Press Association--By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyrignt OSLO, March 20. Further details of the Hera wreck show that the second mate, whose gallantry resulted in saving 56 lives, was twice beaten back in the attempt to reach the shore with a life line. A young girl swam 100 yards in a boiling sea, and saved herself. A five year old girl was swept from her father’s arms and drowned, leaving her tiny shoe in his hand.
