NAVAL APPOINTMENTS. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright WELLINGTON, February 19. The following appointments in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy were gazetted to-night. Commander E. L. Berthon to H.M.S. Philomel, as Commander in command, and naval officer in charge at Auckland. Lieutenant Commander John Terry to H.M.S. Diomede, in continuation of his present appointment as Squadron Gunnery Officer. Lieut. H. F. Lawson, to the Dunedin. Lieut. K. McN. Walker to the Diomede. The Air Force. The following Air Force Appointment is announced: — V. J. Somerset-Thomas, to be FlightLieutenant, and to be flying instructor at Wlgram Aerodrome, Sockbum.
