THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate easterly to northeast; weather slightly unsettled, but mainly a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. Dominion Meteorologist. Pressure is very high from eastern Australia across the Tasman Sea to beyond New Zealand. Expect winds variable and light to moderate. Seas moderate in a few exposed places, but for the most part smooth. Weather fair to fine for the most part, but cloudy and misty in places. A few isolated showers are likely, more especially on the East Coast. Cool night but mild day temperatures. The prospects are for several days of settled weather.
