Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate to strong nortnerly to westerly; weather fair to cloudy and mild. Dominion Meteorologist. A depression has crossed the southern portion of the Dominion, but barometers remain high in the north. Winds, westerlies prevailing, strong at times in Cook and Foveaux Straits; otherwise moderate. Seas, rough about Foveaux Strait, and rather rough about Cook Strait; elsewhere moderate or smooth. Weather still for the most part fair to ’'fine and mild, but some scattered showers in western districts from Taranaki southwards.
