ATHLETICS.

METHODIST HARRIERS. A run from the Woodlands Street Hall was held on Saturday afternoon only a small number being present owing to the Canterbury champion ships at Christchurch. A run was helt over the Club’s seven mile course. The burst home was done at a ver, fast pace. Beswarick. McPhedran and Hurdley leading, closely followed by L and E. Wilson. The final result was W. Beswarick 1. S. Hurdley 2, W. McPhedran 3, L. Wilson 4, E. Wilson 5, A. Foden 6. Next Saturday should draw the Club’s official activities to a close for the season with a seven mile handicap and championship from the residence of Mr J. Nelson, Harper Street.
