CANADA HOLDS CP IMMIGRATION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright OTTAWA, August 15. The Minister of Immigration (Mr W. S. Gordon) announced on Friday the discontinuance of immigration from the Continent of Europe, with the exception of experienced farmers of suitable type, possessing ample means immediately to establish and maintain themselves and their wives and children on the basis of persons already established in Canada.
