At a meeting of the Schools’ Sports Association a very hearty vote of thanks was passed to the South Canterbury Rugby Referees’ Association for the great assistance rendered by its members at the recent Schools’ seven-a-side tournament. Special mention was made of Messrs Park, Philips, Aldridge, Triggs. Lawson and Rowlands, who controlled the games from noon and earlier till the last game played in the gathering dusk.
