CABINET REJECTS PROPOSALS. AUSTRALIAN OFFICERS FOR INDIA United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 22, 9.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 22. The recommendation by the Military Board that young Australian officer graduates, should be sent to India for further training and possibly active service, has been rejected by the Federal Cabinet, which takes the view that it would be impolitic to meddle in the affairs of India, especially at the present juncture.
